FIBERGLASS PROFILES PRODUCTION

Pultrusion is a continuous process for manufacture of profiles in glass fiber and thermosetting resins that are comparable to steel for resistance to tensile and bending stress.

Reinforcement materials, after being impregnated with resin, are pulled through a preforming system, to obtain the required dimensions in order to enter into a heated mould having the shape of the final product’s section
Inside the heated mould, the material undergoes to different temperatures, which stress the content.
The section bar is pulled continuously out from the mould and cooling down completes the reinforcement process and it is ready to be cut and accurately refined.
